The Herzfeld Caribbean Basin Fund Inc. is a closed-end equity investment vehicle, launched by Thomas J. Herzfeld Advisors, Inc. and managed by Herzfeld/Cuba. Although it primarily allocates capital to public equities within the United States, the fund employs a fundamental analysis methodology. Its investment strategy targets companies that are anticipated to profit from the evolving economic, political, structural, and technological landscape across the Caribbean Basin. This diverse region includes nations such as Cuba, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, the Bahamas, the Dominican Republic, Barbados, Aruba, Haiti, the Netherlands Antilles, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, and Venezuela.
