ModivCare Inc. is a healthcare enterprise leveraging technology to deliver an integrated suite of supportive care solutions. Its services cater to both public and private payers, as well as individual patients. The company organizes its operations into four distinct divisions: Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT): This segment manages crucial logistics, including contact center operations, network credentialing, and claims processing, alongside coordinating non-emergency medical rides. This service is vital for individuals eligible for Medicaid or Medicare whose mobility challenges or financial constraints would otherwise impede their access to essential healthcare and social support. Personal Care: The Personal Care division dispatches non-medical personal care assistants, home health aides, and skilled nurses to provide comprehensive assistance with daily living activities. These services, predominantly for Medicaid beneficiaries, elderly individuals, and disabled adults, encompass personal hygiene (e.g., bathing, grooming, oral care), dressing, medication reminders, meal preparation and feeding, light housekeeping, and transportation, as well as aid with ambulation. Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM): Through its RPM segment, ModivCare offers advanced technological solutions like personal emergency response systems, continuous vital sign monitoring, medication management tools, and data-driven engagement platforms for patients. Matrix Investment: This segment focuses on delivering care directly within patients' homes or at specific on-site locations. This includes a fleet of mobile health clinics designed to provide community-based care, equipped with sophisticated diagnostic capabilities and a variety of treatment options. ModivCare's clientele spans a wide array, including federal, state, and local government bodies, Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), commercial insurance providers, private citizens, and various health systems. Incorporated in 1996, the company was formerly known as The Providence Service Corporation until its rebranding as ModivCare Inc. in January 2021. Its corporate headquarters are situated in Denver, Colorado.
