The organization is structured into two primary operational divisions: Products & Healthcare Services and Patient Direct. The Products & Healthcare Services segment offers a wide array of goods and support services to both healthcare providers and manufacturers. Its extensive catalog includes medical and surgical supplies, featuring both established brands and its own proprietary merchandise. This segment also delivers crucial services to healthcare providers, such as supplier relationship management, advanced analytics, inventory optimization, and clinical supply oversight. Furthermore, it provides outsourced logistics and marketing assistance programs to its vendor partners. The Patient Direct segment is dedicated to delivering products and services for at-home patient care. Its offerings encompass critical therapeutic fields such as diabetes management, home-based respiratory support, and obstructive sleep apnea therapy. This division also supplies various other types of home medical equipment, as well as specialized patient care products for conditions like ostomy, wound management, urological needs, and incontinence. Accendra Health serves a diverse client base directly, including large multi-facility healthcare systems, independent hospitals, surgical facilities, and physicians' practices. Additionally, it reaches customers indirectly through third-party distribution channels. The enterprise was formerly known as Owens & Minor, Inc., adopting the name Accendra Health, Inc. in December 2025. Founded in 1882, its headquarters are located in Glen Allen, Virginia.
