It also leverages chelation technology to improve nutrient absorption across a wide range of production and companion animal species, and offers choline chloride, a key nutrient for the health of monogastric animals. The Specialty Products segment is a supplier of ethylene oxide (EtO), primarily utilized for sterilization within the healthcare sector, including single-use canisters for sterilizing reusable medical devices. Furthermore, it markets propylene oxide, a fumigant effective in controlling insects, microbial spoilage, and reducing bacterial and mold contamination in a variety of food products such as nuts (shelled and processed), spices, cacao beans, cocoa powder, and dried fruits like raisins, figs, and prunes. The segment also provides chelated minerals tailored for high-value agricultural crops.
