China GengSheng Minerals, Inc., through its various subsidiaries, is engaged in the creation, production, and sale of an extensive portfolio of mineral-derived, heat-resistant materials for industrial applications. The company's business is structured into four main divisions. The Refractories segment supplies crucial heat-resistant items such as castables, coatings, dry mix materials, and pre-cast roofs. These products function as vital linings and structural elements in high-temperature industrial equipment, including furnaces for steel production, ladles, and other processing machines. The Industrial Ceramics division offers a diverse array of ceramic goods, from abrasive balls and tiles to various electronic and structural ceramics. These components are integral to a wide range of end-products and industries, including fuses, vacuum interrupters, electrical components, and both mud slurry and high-pressure pumps, serving the electric power, electronics, industrial pump, and metallurgy sectors. In its Fracture Proppants segment, the company manufactures specialized spherical pellets used to facilitate the extraction of oil and natural gas deposits trapped within subterranean rock fractures. Finally, the Fine Precision Abrasives segment provides abrasives that are essential for the meticulous surface-polishing and slicing of precision instruments, such as solar panels. These abrasives also see widespread use in machinery manufacturing, electronics, optical glass, architecture, semiconductors, silicon chip production, plastics, and lens fabrication. China GengSheng Minerals caters to a broad customer base in the iron, steel, oil, glass, cement, aluminum, chemical, and solar industries. Its operational footprint covers China, along with other regions in Asia and Europe. The company, which changed its name from China Minerals Technologies, Inc. in July 2007, is based in Gongyi, People's Republic of China.
