Company Description

Global Cord Blood Corporation (GCBC), alongside its associated entities, provides specialized services related to umbilical cord blood within the People's Republic of China. The company's operations involve the testing, processing, and long-term storage of cord blood for both private subscribers and donated samples. For the latter, it also facilitates donor matching. As of March 31, 2022, GCBC managed three cord blood banks situated in key regions: Beijing municipality, Guangdong province, and Zhejiang province. The company, which is headquartered in Central, Hong Kong, rebranded as Global Cord Blood Corporation in March 2018, having previously been known as China Cord Blood Corporation. Currently, it functions as a subsidiary under Blue Ocean Structure Investment Company Ltd.
