Wie eine plattformübergreifende Sonderauswertung für 15 Länder zeigt, führte 2019 bei Videospielfans zwischen London und Lissabon, Stockholm und Sevilla kein Weg an "FIFA 20" vorbei. Damit tritt die Ballsportsimulation aus dem Hause Electronic Arts in die Fußstapfen seiner Vorgänger "FIFA 19" und "FIFA 18", die 2018 und 2017 das Rennen machten.

El juguete resiste al videojuego con siete años de subida de ventas
El juguete va a seguir presente en los hogares españoles cohabitando con el videojuego influido por algunas de sus características que ya imita. Y también va a mantener sus esencias tradicionales en los juegos de mesa y las muñecas, por ejemplo, que siguen gozando de aceptación e incluso ganan mercado. Es el pronóstico de la asociación de fabricantes AEFJ, corroborado por las cifras, ya que el sector globalmente lleva siete años seguidos de subidas de ventas sostenidas -de 2.308 millones de euros en 2012 a 3.046 millones en 2018 y una previsión del 4% de aumento en la actual campaña- en un periodo en el que internet está transformando esta industria como canal de distribución al alza, lo que les obliga a readaptarse para atraer al consumidor con nuevas técnicas de marketing específicas. El reciente estudio «Las reglas del juego» de EAE Business School revela, eso sí, la fuerte competencia de los videojuegos, con una previsión de 1.784 millones de euros comercializados frente a 1.367 de los juguetes y juegos tradicionales en la última campaña española de 2019. «Tanto en el mundo, como en España, los juguetes ‘‘físicos’’ están cediendo terreno a los digitales y en la mayoría de los casos su participación desciende», sostiene el autor de este informe, que analiza el sector a escala internacional, europea y también nacional, Eduardo Irastorza.
