Company Description

Headquartered in Santiago, Chile, Enel Américas S.A. is a prominent electricity utility operating across Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Peru. The company's comprehensive activities span the entire power value chain, from exploring and developing energy resources to generating electricity using both hydroelectric and thermal methods, as well as transmitting, transforming, distributing, and ultimately selling power to end-users. As of December 31, 2020, it boasted an installed generation capacity of 11,269 megawatts and served 25.6 million distribution customers. Established in 1889, the organization rebranded from Enersis Américas S.A. to its current name in December 2016 and operates as a subsidiary of Enel S.p.A.
