Fortress Biotech, Inc. operates as a biopharmaceutical firm, engaged in the development and commercialization of various pharmaceutical and biotechnology offerings. Their current commercial portfolio primarily features a range of dermatology treatments. These include Ximino capsules, specifically designed for inflammatory lesions found in moderate to severe non-nodular acne vulgaris; Targadox, also used for severe acne; Exelderm cream, which addresses symptoms associated with ringworm and jock itch; Ceracade, formulated for various dry skin conditions; Luxamend, utilized for dressing and managing wounds; and Accutane capsules, prescribed for severe recalcitrant nodular acne. In its late-stage development pipeline, Fortress Biotech is advancing several promising therapeutic candidates. These encompass intravenous Tramadol, aimed at managing acute post-operative pain; CUTX-101, an injectable solution for Menkes disease; MB-107 and MB-207, both targeting X-linked severe combined immunodeficiency; Cosibelimab, currently in trials for metastatic cancers; CK-101, for patients with EGFR mutation-positive non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC); CAEL-101, for amyloid light chain amyloidosis; a Triplex vaccine for cytomegalovirus; and CEVA101, intended for severe traumatic brain injury in both adult and pediatric populations. The company's early-stage research includes a diverse array of therapies, such as MB-102 for blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm; MB-101 for glioblastoma; MB-104 for multiple myeloma and light chain amyloidosis; MB-106 for B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma; MB-103 for glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) and metastatic breast cancer that has spread to the brain; MB-108; MB-105 for prostate and pancreatic cancers; and BAER-101. Furthermore, its preclinical initiatives involve AAV-ATP7A gene therapy and AVTS-001 gene therapy; CK-103, a BET inhibitor; CEVA-D and CEVA-102; CK-302, an anti-GITR compound; CK-303, an anti-CAIX agent; the ConVax platform; and ONCOlogues, an oligonucleotide platform. Fortress Biotech maintains collaborative agreements with various academic institutions, research centers, and pharmaceutical companies to further its objectives. Originally incorporated in 2006 under the name Coronado Biosciences, Inc., the company adopted its current name, Fortress Biotech, Inc., in April 2015 and is headquartered in Bay Harbor Island, New York.
