Its Commercial Banking division caters to businesses, government entities, and professional clientele, providing a suite of lending solutions, treasury management, and various financial advisory services. This includes both credit and deposit facilities, specialized offerings like currency exchange and global trade financing, derivatives, capital markets services, asset-based financing, real estate funding, municipal bonds, commercial property leasing, and collaborative loan syndications. The Branch Banking unit focuses on retail customers and nascent enterprises, offering a wide spectrum of deposit and loan products. These encompass transactional and savings accounts, mortgages and home equity lines of credit (HELOCs), credit cards, as well as vehicle and personal loans. Furthermore, it supplies small businesses with essential cash management tools. Through its Consumer Lending arm, Fifth Third Bancorp directly handles the initiation, management, and upkeep of residential mortgages and home equity loans or lines of credit. It also extends indirect lending options to consumers via correspondent lenders and partnerships with automobile dealerships. The Wealth & Asset Management segment delivers diverse investment opportunities for individuals, corporations, and non-profit entities. This includes brokerage services for individual investors, alongside its role as a broker-dealer for institutional clients. Additionally, it offers holistic wealth planning, asset management, banking, insurance, and trust and estate administration, along with consultative support to a wide range of institutional bodies, including mid-sized businesses, non-profit organizations, and governmental entities at state and municipal levels. As of December 31, 2021, the institution maintained a substantial network of 1,117 full-service banking branches and 2,322 automated teller machines across eleven states: Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Florida, Tennessee, West Virginia, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Established in 1858, its corporate headquarters are situated in Cincinnati, Ohio.
