First Republic Bank (FRC) delivers tailored financial solutions, encompassing private banking, private business banking, and private wealth management, primarily to clients situated in major U.S. metropolitan areas. Its operations are structured into two principal divisions: Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. The institution offers a diverse array of deposit accounts, including demand deposit accounts (both interest and noninterest-bearing), money market accounts (checking and savings), traditional passbook savings, and certificates of deposit. Furthermore, First Republic provides an extensive suite of lending options. These include residential mortgages, home equity lines of credit, loans for multifamily properties, commercial real estate and construction financing, personal and business loans, as well as single-family construction loans and other lines of credit for both individuals and enterprises. These loans are commonly secured by single-family homes, multifamily dwellings, and commercial real estate assets. The bank's wealth management division furnishes a comprehensive spectrum of services. These range from various investment strategies and products, online investment management, trust and custody services, and full-service and online brokerage, to financial and estate planning, access to alternative investments, and specialized investing, insurance, and foreign exchange offerings. Complementing its core offerings, the company facilitates online and mobile banking, refinancing services, and provides ATM and debit cards. As of December 31, 2021, First Republic Bank operated through 82 licensed branches for deposit-taking, predominantly located in major cities such as San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Newport Beach, and San Diego in California; Portland, Oregon; Boston, Massachusetts; Palm Beach, Florida; Greenwich, Connecticut; New York, New York; and Jackson, Wyoming. Additionally, it maintained 12 other offices dedicated to lending, wealth management, or trust services. Founded in 1985, the bank maintains its headquarters in San Francisco, California.
