Furthermore, this division provides grain drying and storage solutions directly to agricultural producers. The Partnership division is dedicated to offering fuel storage and transportation facilities. As of December 31, 2021, Green Plains Inc. commanded a network comprising 29 ethanol storage facilities, 4 fuel terminal facilities, and a sizable fleet of approximately 2,300 leased railcars. Founded in 2004, the company was initially named Green Plains Renewable Energy, Inc. before adopting its current name, Green Plains Inc., in May 2014.
