Icahn Enterprises L.P. (IEP) is a diverse holding company that operates through its various subsidiaries across numerous industries, serving both the United States and international markets. Its core business activities span investment, energy, automotive, food packaging, real estate, home fashion, and pharmaceuticals. Specifically, the Investment division strategically deploys its own capital by managing a portfolio of private investment funds. The Energy segment is involved in both refining and marketing transportation fuels, alongside the production and distribution of nitrogen-based fertilizers, including urea ammonium nitrate and ammonia. Within the Automotive sector, IEP handles the wholesale and retail distribution of vehicle components, in addition to offering comprehensive auto repair and maintenance services. The Food Packaging segment focuses on manufacturing and supplying various casings—such as cellulosic, fibrous, and plastic types—that are essential for preparing processed meat products. Its extensive Real Estate operations encompass leasing commercial properties (retail, office, and industrial), constructing and selling residential units and single-family homes, and managing golf courses, clubs, hotels, and timeshare resorts. The Home Fashion division is responsible for the entire lifecycle of consumer home products, from manufacturing and sourcing to marketing, distribution, and sales. Lastly, the Pharmaceutical segment provides a range of medicinal products and related services. Established in 1987, Icahn Enterprises L.P. maintains its principal corporate office in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida.
