iRobot Corporation (IRBT) is a company dedicated to the global design, development, and sale of robots and smart home innovations. Its operations span key regions including the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Japan. The company's primary product offerings include intelligent floor care devices, most notably the Roomba line of robotic vacuum cleaners. These are supported by a full suite of accessories and consumables, such as the Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal system, along with essential replacement items like dust bags, filters, brushes, and batteries. iRobot also provides the Braava series of automated mopping robots and their corresponding consumables, which include specialized cleaning solutions, washable and disposable mopping pads, spare water tanks, and power packs. Customers can also access subscription-based services for these products. Beyond floor care, iRobot manufactures the portable H1 Handheld Vacuum, offering necessary accessories like filters, charging units, batteries, and an extension kit to transform it into a stick vacuum. The company also markets air purification systems under its Aeris brand, selling associated filters and fabric covers. For educational purposes, iRobot offers Root robots, designed to teach children programming, and the Create 2 mobile robot platform. This versatile platform enables educators, developers, and high school and college students to program custom behaviors, sounds, movements, and integrate additional electronics. iRobot distributes its products through a diverse network that includes major retail chains, national outlets, independent distributors, and third-party resellers.
