Beyond solid food applications, JBT supplies specialized processing equipment for liquids, covering everything from extracting, mixing, and blending to pasteurizing, sterilizing, concentrating, high-pressure processing, filling, closing, sealing, and ultimate packaging. Their extensive range of packaging systems is designed for a diverse array of products, including poultry, beef, pork, seafood, ready-to-eat meals, fresh produce, dairy items, baked goods, pet food, soups, sauces, and juices. Furthermore, JBT develops automated guided vehicle (AGV) systems to optimize material flow within manufacturing plants, warehouses, and medical establishments. Shifting to air transportation, the JBT AeroTech division provides essential equipment for airport operations. This encompasses mobile assets like cargo loaders for both commercial and defense sectors, aircraft de-icers, tow vehicles, and ground power and cooling systems, alongside fixed installations such as passenger boarding bridges. This segment also delivers critical maintenance and support services for airport equipment, systems, and overall facilities. Its clientele includes domestic and international airport authorities, commercial passenger airlines, airfreight and ground handling firms, and various defense organizations and contractors. JBT distributes its offerings globally via its direct sales force, independent distributors, and a network of sales representatives. Established in 1994, John Bean Technologies Corporation maintains its headquarters in Chicago, Illinois.
