Beyond its central trading capabilities, this division also furnishes a comprehensive array of supplementary services designed to streamline the vehicle transaction lifecycle. These include full-service logistics for transportation, reconditioning, thorough vehicle inspection and certification, title management, various administrative support tasks, and collateral recovery. Its diverse clientele encompasses commercial fleet operators, financial institutions, car rental agencies, new and used vehicle dealerships, and automotive manufacturers. Conversely, the Finance segment focuses on delivering short-term, inventory-backed lending solutions, specifically floorplan financing, predominantly to independent vehicle dealers. It also extends its services to other commercial and franchise dealer partners. Notably, the enterprise, previously known as KAR Auction Services, Inc., underwent a rebranding and officially became OPENLANE, Inc. in May 2023.
