Company Description

The VanEck Vectors Coal ETF (KOL) is designed to closely mirror, before accounting for fees and expenses, the total return performance (both price appreciation and income generation) of the MVIS® Global Coal Index. To achieve this objective, the fund typically commits at least 80% of its overall assets to the component securities that constitute its benchmark index. The MVIS® Global Coal Index encompasses companies operating within the global coal sector that generate a minimum of 50% of their income from various coal-related operations. These activities include the extraction, mining, and processing (cokeries) of coal, its transportation, the manufacturing of coal mining equipment, and the storage and trade of coal. This fund is classified as non-diversified.
