Furthermore, the company delivers airtime subscription plans for internet and voice communication, along with value-added content such as news, radio broadcasts, maritime information, sporting events, and television programming. It also offers movie distribution services, support for its mini-VSAT Broadband solution, and IoT connectivity as a service. The Inertial Navigation division focuses on sophisticated guidance, positioning, and stabilization technologies tailored for commercial and defense sectors. Its offerings include high-precision fiber optic gyro-based systems, tactical navigation units for military trucks and light armored vehicles, and various commercial-grade products. These commercial applications span precision mapping, dynamic surveying, autonomous vehicles, train location control, track geometry measurement systems, industrial robotics, and optical stabilization. KVH distributes its mobile communication products via an extensive network comprising independent retailers, chain stores, distributors, and service providers, as well as directly to manufacturers of vessels, maritime equipment, and vehicles. Its navigation products are sold directly to both U.S. and international governments, government contractors, and through authorized independent sales representatives. The company also engages in direct sales and leasing of its products to end-users across all its business areas. Established in 1978, KVH Industries, Inc. is headquartered in Middletown, Rhode Island.
