Its product offerings encompass a variety of deposit accounts, including interest-bearing checking, money market accounts, savings accounts, certificates of deposit (time deposits), and standard demand deposits. The institution also provides diverse lending solutions, such as financing for real estate construction, commercial ventures, and various mortgage products. These mortgages range from residential 1-4 family properties and multi-family dwellings to second mortgages and home equity lines of credit. Additionally, other types of loans and cash management services are available. Beyond core banking, Old Point Financial offers extensive financial and wealth management expertise. This includes retirement and estate planning, general financial planning, administration of estates and trusts, retirement plan oversight, tax services, and investment management. Clients can also access insurance products through the company. The corporation maintains a physical presence through 14 branches situated in Virginia's Hampton Roads localities, specifically Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Williamsburg/James City County, York County, and Isle of Wight County. Further expanding its reach, it operates a loan production office in Richmond, Virginia, and a mortgage origination office in Charlotte, North Carolina. Established in 1922, Old Point Financial Corporation has its headquarters in Hampton, Virginia.
