Operating through its subsidiaries, Pingtan Marine Enterprise Ltd. specializes in commercial deep-sea fishing. The company's diverse catch includes numerous aquatic species such as red fish, ribbon fish, sea catfish, seabream, shrimp, silver pomfret, seaperch, slender shad, sole fish, Spanish mackerel, and threadfin. By the end of 2021 (December 31st), its substantial fleet consisted of 51 squid jigging vessels, 26 trawlers, 25 seine vessels, 13 drifters, 4 longline fishing vessels, and 3 transport vessels. Additionally, it held operational licenses for an extra 20 drifters. This enterprise caters to a varied clientele within the People's Republic of China, encompassing distributors, restaurant owners, and exporters. Pingtan Marine Enterprise Ltd. maintains its principal office in Fuzhou, China.
