These products are vital for diverse applications, including broadcast transmission, CO2 laser cutting, diagnostic imaging, dielectric and induction heating, high-energy transfer, high-voltage switching, plasma generation, power conversion, radar systems, and radiation oncology. The company's Canvys segment focuses on crafting custom display solutions. Its offerings include touch screens, protective panels, integrated all-in-one computers, tailored enclosures, unique cabinet finishes, application-specific software, and certification services. Canvys serves corporate enterprise, financial, healthcare, industrial, and medical original equipment manufacturer (OEM) sectors. Furthermore, the Healthcare segment manufactures and distributes replacement parts for diagnostic imaging systems (CT and MRI), such as new CT and MRI tubes, MRI coils, cold heads, RF amplifiers, hydrogen thyratrons, klystrons, and magnetrons. This segment also offers flat panel detector upgrades, pre-owned CT systems, other replacement components, and specialized CT service training. Its clientele includes hospitals, medical centers, asset management firms, independent service organizations, and multi-vendor service providers. Overall, Richardson Electronics' portfolio consists of products engineered to control, switch, or amplify electrical power signals, as well as various display devices. These are applied in a broad spectrum of industries, including alternative energy, healthcare, aviation, communications, industrial, marine, medical, military, scientific, and semiconductor markets. Established in 1947, the company is headquartered in LaFox, Illinois.
