The Surety segment issues a range of surety bonds. These include commercial surety bonds designed for medium to large businesses, smaller bonds for individuals and businesses, and bonds specifically for small to medium-sized contractors. Beyond these direct insurance offerings, RLI Corp. also engages in underwriting various reinsurance coverages. The company distributes its products through a multi-channel network, which includes its own branch offices, brokers, carrier partners, and both underwriting and independent agents.
