The AGFiQ U.S. Market Neutral Size Fund aims to deliver investment results that mirror the price and yield performance of the Dow Jones U.S. Thematic Market Neutral Size Index, before considering fees and operating expenses. It achieves this by investing a minimum of 80% of its total assets (which may include borrowed funds) in common stocks designated for long positions within the underlying index, while concurrently short-selling at least 80% of the stocks identified for short positions in that same index. Consequently, the fund strives to maintain a roughly equivalent dollar value between its purchased (long) and sold (short) securities. This market-neutral approach is strategically employed to mitigate the impact of general market fluctuations on the fund's overall performance.
