The Institutional segment provides equity trading capabilities to its institutional clientele. It also plays a key role in originating, structuring, and distributing debt instruments across global capital markets. This segment handles a variety of international securities, including unlisted American Depository Receipts (ADRs), Global Depository Receipts (GDRs), and foreign ordinary shares. Furthermore, it functions as an institutional dealer in fixed-income securities, serving asset managers, the trust and investment departments of commercial banks, broker-dealers, and insurance firms. The segment is also engaged in asset management, and delivers clearing and execution services on futures exchanges, alongside foreign exchange brokerage for financial institutions and professional traders, and a range of OTC products. For its Retail customers, the company provides trading platforms and solutions across global financial markets, encompassing spot foreign exchange, precious metals trading, and contracts for differences (CFDs). It also offers wealth management and investment advisory services. Additionally, it sells physical gold and other precious metals in various forms and denominations through its online platforms, coininvest.com and silver-to-go.com. The Global Payments division specializes in foreign exchange and treasury services for banks, commercial enterprises, charitable organizations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and government bodies, in addition to general payment services. Formerly recognized as INTL FCStone Inc., the company officially rebranded to StoneX Group Inc. in July 2020. StoneX Group Inc. was established in 1924 and maintains its corporate headquarters in New York, New York.
