Synalloy Corporation is a global enterprise that manufactures and distributes both metal products and specialized chemical solutions. The company's Metals segment is responsible for producing welded pipes and tubes, primarily from stainless steel, duplex, and nickel alloys, alongside galvanized carbon tubes and other stainless pipe offerings. This division also fabricates ornamental stainless-steel tubes, catering to a broad range of industries including automotive, commercial transportation, marine, food services, construction, furniture, and healthcare. Furthermore, it supplies fiberglass and steel storage tanks for the oil and gas, wastewater treatment, and municipal water sectors. Completing its metal operations, the segment distributes hot-finished, seamless carbon steel pipes and tubes designed for mechanical and high-pressure uses in the oil and gas, heavy industrial, construction equipment, and chemical industries. Synalloy's Specialty Chemicals segment focuses on creating defoamers, surfactants, and lubricating agents. These products are utilized by various end-users, including companies involved in agrochemicals, paper manufacturing, metalworking, coatings, water treatment, paint, mining, oil and gas, and janitorial services. Beyond product manufacturing, this segment offers contract manufacturing solutions and operates a multi-purpose facility equipped to handle challenging materials like flammable solvents, viscous liquids, and granular solids. Established in 1945, the firm was initially known as Blackman Uhler Industries, Inc., changing its name to Synalloy Corporation in July 1967. The corporate headquarters are located in Oak Brook, Illinois.
