Sales are conducted through a network of 106 company-owned retail stores – comprising 95 locations in the United States, ten in Canada, and one in Spain – as well as via online platforms such as tandyleather.com, tandyleather.ca, tandyleather.eu, and tandyleather.com.au. Founded in 1919, the company initially operated as The Leather Factory, Inc., changing its name to Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. in 2005. Its corporate base is situated in Fort Worth, Texas.
