It also encompasses modern IT services such as hosting, cloud solutions, and managed information technology, extending to specialized areas like data management and analytics-driven smart food-chain technologies, home and business security systems, and healthcare software and tech solutions. The Digitally-Led Customer Experiences segment focuses on enhancing digital customer interactions and facilitating digital transformation for businesses, leveraging technologies such as artificial intelligence and content management. Collectively, TELUS serves an extensive customer base, totaling 16.9 million connections. This substantial figure comprises 9.3 million mobile phone users, 2.1 million connected device subscriptions, 2.3 million internet subscribers, 1.1 million residential voice customers, 1.3 million television viewers, and 804,000 security system subscribers. The organization was founded in 1998, initially operating as TELUS Communications Inc. It officially became TELUS Corporation in February 2005. The company's main office is situated in Vancouver, Canada.
