Umpqua Holdings Corporation, founded in Portland, Oregon, in 1953, functions as the parent entity of Umpqua Bank, offering a comprehensive array of commercial and retail banking services. The company's operations are distinctly segmented into Core Banking and Mortgage Banking. Customers have access to diverse deposit accounts, including both interest and non-interest-bearing checking accounts, savings and money market accounts, and certificates of deposit. For its corporate and commercial clientele, Umpqua provides a broad spectrum of lending and financial solutions. These encompass financing for accounts receivable and inventory, multi-family dwelling loans, equipment loans and leases, international trade finance, real estate construction and permanent financing, and Small Business Administration (SBA) program funding. Additionally, the bank offers capital markets and treasury management products. Beyond these, the corporation extends commercial and industrial (C&I) loans. Its residential real estate lending services cover the construction, acquisition, and refinancing of both owner-occupied residences and rental properties. For individual consumers, available loan products include secured and unsecured personal loans, home equity and personal lines of credit, and motor vehicle loans. Umpqua further augments its services with financial planning solutions and convenient online and mobile banking platforms. Its primary client base consists of affluent individuals and families, selected non-profit organizations, and professional services firms. As of December 31, 2021, Umpqua Bank operated a substantial network of 234 locations. This included 202 retail bank branches situated across Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho, and Nevada, alongside 28 administrative facilities dedicated to support functions. Of these administrative sites, two were company-owned, with the remaining twenty-six being leased.
