The segment also covers smartphone telematics applications, automotive power accessories, and crucial safety features like rear observation, collision avoidance, and driver distraction mitigation systems, alongside automotive sensing and camera technologies. Further offerings extend to power lift gates, mobile interface modules, turn signal switches, automotive lighting products, USB ports, cruise control systems, and heated seats. For Consumer Electronics, VOXX offers a diverse portfolio for personal enjoyment and home integration. This encompasses a broad range of audio equipment, including speakers, home theater setups, business and streaming music systems, and various on-ear, in-ear, wired, wireless, and Bluetooth headphones and earbuds. The segment also features soundbars, digital living network alliance (DLNA) compatible devices, high-definition television and Wi-Fi antennas, HDMI accessories, and flat-panel TV mounting systems. Additional products range from karaoke and infant/nursery items to home electronic accessories (such as cabling and power cords), connectivity solutions, performance-enhancing electronics, universal TV remotes, power supply and charging products, electronic equipment cleaning items, personal sound amplifiers, set-top boxes, and both home and portable stereos. Finally, the Biometrics segment specializes in iris identification and other advanced biometric security solutions. Founded in 1960, the company originally operated as Audiovox Corporation before officially rebranding as VOXX International Corporation in December 2011. Its corporate headquarters are situated in Orlando, Florida.
